Thanks to the awarding of scientific prizes, sponsored by companies or non-profit organizations, a close bond is created with the research landscape. With these prizes, the FWO recognizes excellent fundamental, strategic and/or translational scientific research.

FWO Excellence Prizes - call closed

The prestigious FWO Excellence Prizes reward the scientific career of prominent researchers affiliated with a Flemish university or eligible research organisation. The Excellence Prizes are awarded every five years.

Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism Award - call open
